The spiritual home of the Mosquito. Excellent exhibits of world famous aircraft and the opportunity to see restorations happening in live action. There is an excellent café and gift/book shop with items for all ages. Highly recommended.

Nice day out although not a huge place. Thought a bit pricey at £14 per adult considering it can took me just over an hour to go round with a toddler. There was some nice activities for youngsters such as colouring and other craft stuff. Several aircrafts you can enter and walk through both inside and outside if weather permits

A small but well kept selection of famous aircraft including THREE complete Mosquitos. A charming lot of competent volunteers take plenty of time to explain what you see and the surroundings are beautiful.

Great visit to see some of the De Havilland aircraft both restored and as work in progress. Two good examples of the Vampire I was able to get up close and take photos. Also a good example of the Sea Vixen awaiting restoration.

Yeah definitely a hidden gem. Staff really lovely and lots to see. Really good value. Will definitely go back.

A really interesting museum with plenty of volunteers about if you want any detailed info on the exhibits. Plenty to see in the hangers and many planes stored outside so you need good weather to enjoy those. Will certainly make a return visit.

This is a small museum with lots of enthusiastic volunteers and well worth a visit. It is less than five minutes from the motorway and way better than any service station. The cafe serves excellent cream teas and the museum has lots of exhibits. There are frequent short talks and presentations and plenty of opportunities for questions. A visit here certainly breaks up a long journey.

I would strongly suggest to anybody thinking about visiting this museum to please ignore the 1 star reviews. This museum is absolutely fantastic and seriously well worth visiting, you will find on display some of the most incredible British engineering achievements our country has ever built, and a wonderful reminder of our sadly mostly lost history and heritage in aviation, especially its star attraction is the worlds only surviving DH98 prototype Mosquito, I appreciate that I’m slightly biased as I have a family connecting here as my grandfather was an engineer in the drawing office at De Havilland and part of the genius team that designed and built the Wooden Wonder.. If you have any interest aircraft and history you really should spend a few hours visiting here.

It was a pleasant experience, seeing such old aircraft, friendly and informative staff. Well priced as well. Would definitely be nice to see more life come to the place

Fantastic relatively small aircraft museum where you can learn everything about the De Havilland aircraft produced over the past 100+ years. Great covered displays of many historic aircraft. Especially of interest the famous Mosguito fighter bombers. Other exhibits include the famous Comet aircraft and many more. I was lucky enough to get a free guided tour by one the volunteers which enabled me to see some restoration work in progress. An absolute must see place for aviation enthusiasts.
