I contacted James Steel for the renovation of our complex staircase. They only do new staircases now, but they recommended a fantastic specialist for staircase renovations. So if you have any questions regarding staircases, they re genuine specialists who will know how to help, even if that means no business for them. Thank you!

Called regarding our refurb project in Herts where we require someone to supply bespoke glass balustrade to an existing stair case. I left details and was assured of a call back. The call back never came. I can only assume due to disinterest in our project because I was also advised “we don’t really do renovation or work on existing staircases anymore” yet you post photos of refurb work on Instagram? Either way a courtesy call back would have been helpful.

Can’t rate this company high enough. If you want first class experience that caters for all your needs and ideas, then James Steel staircases is for you. Would highly recommend Rob from James-Steel who designed and fitted my staircase. The stairs were quite complicated across 3 floors and floating with stair lights, I am so happy with the end result and the customer service.
