What impeccable service. I phone up last Sunday for a car. Was allowed to try it out and put a wheelchair in to see if it fitted. The car was delivered to me on Wednesday. The log book arrived today.

Update to their response - just because "most dealers do it this way" doesn't mean they have to as well. The car could be marked as reserved. I spent ages researching and looking at cars, and then to find out it is not available is just very frustrating. Based on the tone of their response, I am pleased that the car was not available so I don't have to deal with this delightful company. Contacted them about a car that was available on their website. They contacted me after to say it had already been sold. Website needs updating more regularly as to not waste people's time with unavailable cars.

I have now purchased 2 cars from Harrington Car Sales. Both times I have been made to feel so welcome. Both times I was given a very well detailed explanation of the car and they are open to any queries you have. The fact they put it through a MOT and if it has any advisory’s they sort it is just 5 star. I will always look to this wonderfully run family garage in what is a beautiful part of the UK to purchase any car and will always recommend this to my friends and family.

Refreshing to find an honest Garage still exists. From the first contact they were open and honest about the car, Doing everything to make us the customer happy including delivering it late on a Friday. The owner of the company delivered it personally and we couldn't be happier. Will be returning in future when we need another car.

Not a good experience. Heard good reviews about this garage so organised a test drive as a NQ driver. Couldn't find anyone from sales so someone from the garage came out. No checks on ID or insurance prior to drive, just gave me the keys and said off you go. The car (I tested) clutch control wasn't great, stiff and very high biting point that caused me to stall multiple times. Hard to pull off from. Returned to the garage and raised my concerns- unfortunately the sales person we spoke to (didn't introduce themselves) didnt take this on board, just said "it's fine when I drive it". Big disappointment with this as they didn't seem to take my concerns seriously even after my friend who has 40 years driving experience expressed concerns with the clutch and the jerky movement when changing gears. Not friendly and felt they were just shrugging me off. Left feeling very low confidence and a bit shaken up as a new driver. Won't return. It is such a shame as I can see this does have good reviews but I don't feel reassured by the experience I had.

We live in Merseyside & Harringtons is in London, my wife needed a small automatic, she saw a 2014 Suzuki Alto on the internet at Harringtons. We contacted them and spoke to the owner about the car and they offered to have it delivered to Merseyside to test drive, if my wife did not like it they would take it back. Mr Harringtons son drove up from London with the car on a low loader. The car is as described and my wife loved it so went ahead with the sale. The service we have received is 1st rate and Mr Harrington and his son were very friendly, polite and professional and I would highly recommend them as a company.

Bought a 2018 car for myself and my son who has just passed his test. Absolutely delighted with the car. As for Harrington's, first class service and absolute trust in this family run business that has been in Shenley for well over 15 years. Would I but another car from here? Definitely. Extremely happy.

Cannot recommend this company enough. I really struggled to find an honest and trustworthy used car dealer in and around Greater London. Finally, I stumbled across an advert for a lovely car from Peter at Harringtons Car sales and they have not disappointed. During the lockdown they went above and beyond to ensure a great customer experience and I now, after a long search, have a car that does not disappoint. I required to replace my 2003 Avensis 1.8 Automatic and allowed myself 6 months to do this. After searching for 5 months without success, I found Harringtons had a car which matched my requirements, but was outside my budget. Several emails passed between Peter and myself, till a price was agreed. Never at any time, did I feel I was under any pressure. Getting my car delivered 90 miles away and also my car taken in exchange, was a bonus.
